The Economics and Management Science Course Union (EMSCU) is excited to introduce A Millennial Dream: The Global Economy on February 9th, 2019. This Case Competition is open to all Ryerson Students, no Economic major required at the cost of $60 per delegate.
This year we will be exploring the theme of globalization and the impact it plays on the economy. Featuring a panel of industry leaders that face this challenge daily, you will be able to experience first hand on how they approach these situations and how you can prepare yourself once you enter the business world.
The format of the competition will comprise of fifteen teams that consist of five students per team. The teams will be given one of three possible case problems provided by EMSCU’s partnered start-ups. Your team must utilize a combination of communication, critical thinking and analytical skills to have a greater chance of winning the grand prize of $1500.
The event will also provide workshops that explore economic concepts on a global scale and prepare attendees for their presentations. The end of our case competition will be wrapped up with a networking session.
Lunch and dinner will also be provided.

IMPORTANT: Each member of your team must sign up and purchase a ticket. Once the ticket is purchased, an email with a link to a google form will be sent to you. This form must be filled out to ensure your team members are known.
